GRADING DAYS

Women:

ANUWHC grading in 2026 is spread over two weekends, and will be held in Lyneham and Tuggeranong, giving everyone more chance to be seen by graders. This structure is due to the Lyneham field upgrades affecting availability, and the timings of the Freda Bennett Masters carnival and ANU Market Day.

9:00 AM Sunday 15 Feb 2026 @ Lyneham National Hockey Centre

9:00 AM Saturday 21 Feb 2026 @ Tuggeranong Hockey Park

Please remember to complete this registration form BEFORE coming to grading!

Men:

This year grading will occur over two weekends, please see below for details :-

Weekend 1: Sunday, 22 February (11:00–13:00) – Willows Oval
Students and new players welcome. Meet selectors, captains, coaches, and teammates. Short games and drills included. BBQ and refreshments to follow.

Weekend 2: Saturday, 28 February (13:30–16:30) – National Hockey Centre
Lower grades: 13:30–15:00 | Higher grades: 15:00–16:30

Weekend one is more of a meet and greet session. Weekend two is where the serious grading will be undertaken. To make this day go smoothly, we would appreciate if you could all fill out the below form to let us know your playing intentions for 2026. This includes people who are unable to attend Grading Day, to give us an idea of numbers and to ensure everyone’s playing intentions are recorded when making teams. 

If you are new to the club we suggest that you attend the lower grade session, you may subsequently be then asked to stay around for the higher grade session. The same applies to the higher graded State League players from 2025 who are aspiring for Capital League selection in 2026.
